prisoner 46664,
a number behind a cell door
what is life for?
to break rocks
till no more
4 square metres,
concrete bed
a bucket toilet,
denied bread
what was it the captain said?
my own fate, it read
beyond this place of
wrath and tears
that exhausted so
many years;
that made me feel so alone
one planet, one home.

Happy New Year, Spikers!
Now, as I push my inebriated parts of grey matter into a ''holding'' locker, I come to
recognise this fine deserving tribute to one of humanity's greatest statesmen. Will we ever see
his like again?
Well scribed, scribe!
