Wished upon a falling star.
Though it didn't get very far.
I feel as if my bones are filled with tar.
The stars above shine so bright.
Damn the mortal being down here with such a dim sight.
Falling back into my depressive state of mind, will I be alright?
My body is weak, I feel as if my heart is giving up on me.
I'm worried that It might just be.
Something my soul longs to see.
All alone, a choice I've chosen.
People don't understand, I use to be so warm and inviting.
But now it's as if my soul is frozen.
Oh well I say.
Maybe I am damned and it is here to stay.
It gives my art/music a unique sound anyway.
Falling star take me with you, let's both disappear into the infinite.
Anything is better than where I sit, in this char boiled pit.
I need to soar along with your state of being, profound lit wit.
Farewell my friend, for this is the end.
I need to leave this organic planet in seek of a new trend.
Wish upon me for luck as I descend.

An excellent write and you've caught the trend amongst people now and this has always been the dominant straing in poets because they're as if fallen angels, out of place, out of sync with the world which is what makes them great. Like your honest expression:
"Falling star take me with you, let's both disappear into the infinite.
Anything is better than where I sit, in this char boiled pit.
I need to soar along with your state of being,"
Keep it up! |
