FREE SPIRIT
Tonight you sleep,
Body under the sheet,
While you dream,
Feeling a sence of peace,
Looking down on me,
Floating above the tree's
Drifting to the star stream's
Sight that must be seen,
Heaven I've been,
Don't want to leave,
Though heaven not ready for me,
Body relieved,
Spirit has been retrieved,
Time to be,
The man that can be,
To become the real me,
Set your spirit free.
Colin Bradley.

symphonic like a cascading dream of a free spirit open to what is to come.
I like this bit about night dreams, they might change as one grows older, but there's this soul
in them that remains somehow.
Perhaps that's a romantic phlegm of brain
cocka doody, said the neurologist, in your dream, using pictures and detailed schematics to prove a point, that was absolutely forgotten the second you regained consciousness.
Maybe you found yourself in high school, or in college still, with too much missed work, and you woke still thinking for a second that you never graduated. Then there's the conscious mind that day dreams, tells itself out of its own free will what to think.
The lizard , maybe a Jim Morrison sort of view,
which leaves one functional while driving a car and day dreaming all the same. Nobody multitasks but many dream while performing
conscious tasks.
Dream of floating, float then realize your dreaming, then float at will. I once heard the entire first side of Led Zeppelin's Houses of the Holy, clearer then ever while sleeping, with no drugs of any kind in my blood stream. It was absolutely remarkable. I never forgot it, although I have no idea why.
There's something about the spirit
nice writing man!
Peace!
