if letting you go is what i need to do
i will
if pretending we are just friends is what i need to do
i will
if loving you means i have to let you go
i will

Nothing and no one will ever know
the love that is ours
i can do this because
it is in the stars
it took me a while to realize
that a love this strong could materialize
from a heart so strong, it dreams of only you
it may take time for the divine
but this love will be ours in time.

if time is what i need to give
to you to correct the way you live
then time is what i will outlive
so time until i can be with you i can forgive

I love you with all
fiends we will be
until you fall
in love once again with me.

i will survive until that day
when you will say
i love you sweetie
and forever you will stay

This is what love, true love is, we all learn.
Love is the tiniest part of any and all universal.
Love of thy own self, is a long road reflected back. best of luck my friend as no love knows the future while we live on Earth - love is poetic, righteous, sacrificially hard, and ornamentally sometimes way too onerous for its own good dammit. But that's what it is...
