Lost within your eyes’ hazy gray
Drowning but never complaining
Suffocating in that comfortable way
With the moon gently waning
I needn’t touch to feel you’re warm
Inside a fire burns with passion
You’re a rose with the sweetest thorn
You’ve pricked me in a fashion
And like the tale goes, I’ll sleep
Until your sherbet lips caress me
Although in truth I’ve always been asleep
Waiting for you to rescue me
With the moon gently waning
I’ll be waiting, but never complaining.

i like it - not cheesy at all, just very heartfelt (especially considering sonnets are difficult to get right). i like the imagery and the visual quality to the whole thing. keep them coming, Kate x |

This has caught me in a mood for lurve. Though not in love. Made me smile. Very romantic! Which is always good. Was directed this way by a certain TW out there. |
