In the dark;
The black of night,
Danger lives to
Begin the fight.
In the light;
The white of day,
Peace will reign
To light the way.
When there's pain,
We will fall;
Joy will return
You'll hear the call.
When he returns,
You'll truly see
That he loves you
You will be free.

As someone who is walking the same dark and seemingly hopeless path as your friend, I know her pain and I hope, as I hope for myself, he will come back. She is not alone.
To someone who wrote these words to their friend. You are a good friend in which she can find comfort. She is lucky to have a friend like you. kudos to you.
As the likelihood of you being one of my friends is slim I, all the same, thank you as your words bring me hope too
