Misgivings I s'pose that led my way to you.
A fear of your world I think,
I didn't know how you'd respond to me,
Would you make the link?
I've watched you for some time you know,
And fonder I grow still,
You look like you're from Hollywood,
It's that uncertain thrill.
Yet will I get much closer,
To the one that I adore?
Or will you look and take a glance,
And see what I stand for?
Not you, not me,
we know it could never work,
I can tell what you will do, you know,
You'd act like such a jerk.
You'd punish me for living,
The way i have to live,
Misgivings, i s'pose, knowing that I could never forgive.
