veil covered dreams

Contributed by lostrelic on Thursday, 14th November 2013 @ 05:40:58 PM in AEST
Topic: abstract

I once met a man with three eyes.
He told me he could see past the veil of time.
He offered me a gift for the price of my soul.
To find more then my father, to escape past his goals.

Within that third eye I witnessed a burning sky.
The clouds loomed with darkness, and man fed off their own lies.
He showed me a future, one with deception and fabled truth.
All in the name of egos sweet ruse.

In this dream I walked among giants.
I swept the floor of mighty fallen tyrants.
He gave me a key and a crown of fire.
It was locked away, until time called upon this desire.

I was told to walk lightly and to fear being not alone.
To one day wake to see my life grown.
Within this price came the burning of life.
I wasn't able to see this future come bright.
Just to be a stone in a grande ocean scheme.
To be tossed in the rivers, a reflection of this dream.

Today I stand strong, with the will of my ripples.
Harvesting good, and accepting life so simple.
All this I woke, in the moonlight all alone.
The voice of the three eyed man, came drifting home.

You've created a really moody and atmospheric tale and for me felt like I was being taken on a mysterious journey.
Marvellous
Magical
Magnificent!!

Steve
