Those twisted lies behind emerald eyes
I feign ignorance to prevent a fight
In the name of love, I hold my tongue
As you leave again, and leave me here
With this soul defeating dark
And my cold repeating heart
I can't move, I'm stuck in this bed
You'd just laugh, say it's in my head
Just another lie lying on the pile
'Til it topples over upon me now
Crushing the will that keeps this spirit
Chained to the bones inside my body
Those twisted lies behind emerald eyes
Dragging me down into the depths
In the name of love, I hold my breath
And sink further, 'til I'm lost forever

Powerful and very dark write.
I could feel the intensity welling up inside, waiting to burst out.
