Gabriel & AnaAna Loves David

Contributed by _gabrielvaldez_ on Sunday, 20th October 2013 @ 05:55:05 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

And there she was
Beauty in perfect form
From head to toe
The woman i adored

The day we met
My heart skipped a beat
Oh that heart warming smile
As she proceeded to speak to me

The voice of an angel
So Bittersweet
My heart instantly connected
With the woman of my dreams

I had finally found her
The one id been searching for
The one my life to be spent with
My searching was over

And as time went on
We grew in heart
And our love would not dampen
Even as we were apart

Yes i gave her my heart
My every fiber within
But eventually
As you know
All things
Must come to an end

And so the next chapter of this story begins..

We hit a corner
One i didnt see
a road that was hidden
Like an island beyond the sea

Your love slowly faded
You just couldnt let go
Of a man named David
You finally let it show

Its hard to admit
But now i see
Your heart was always his
It never belonged to me

So now i leave you
With these last few words
Love is just a roller coaster
With a few twists and unexpected turns

To be continued...

Woah, that hurts.
Funny thing is I once knew a girl named Ana who eventually faded away as well so the title of this poem really caught my eye. I hope someday you'll be able to run free from it. That would be a blissful day I can guarantee it. :)

Keep writing! :D
