To go and turn back the hands of time
To undo so many wrongs in my life
To do what was right instead of wrong
Would I have been better or still unsure.
To go and turn back the hands of time
To do a little tweaking in my life,
To change a few decisions here and there
Would I have been in better standings of full of despair.
To go and turn back the hands of time
Would I be full of pain or filled with joyous smiles
Would I have gone through a lot of the things I've gone through in this life.
Would I even be here. Or laid down to rest.
To go and turn back the hands of time
I've made a lot of mistakes in my life
But would I have learned the lessons I've learned in this life.
Would I have gotten to know my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Through him I have changed in more than one way because of the love he has shown to me and because of the love my Lord has given to me I am free and full of prosperity.
So to go and turn back the hands of time
Now thinking about it I don't think that would be right
I know now that all the things I have been through has brought me right back home to you, back to my Lord and Savior to be made brand new.

I enjoyed the 'what ifs' of the do-over. It's been on my mind too, because the shifts in bad could also mean the loss of good things, or worse, a greater evil befalling us. It's like a cosmic Rubik's Cube, changing the sides you are not looking at when you think you've made one part perfect and complete.
Benjamin Franklin is quoted as saying 'That which hurts, also instructs.' Still, there are some things I would change in a heartbeat.
