Its lines and curves flying around
In a pattern so clear but worldly wound;
In patterns so sensibly unequivocal
Forming combinations so empirical.
The enigma that boggles the big and the small
Forming combinations of infinity and all.
It’s these numbers that intrigue the corners of our mind
And each of their discoveries is the greatest find.
It’s like viewing the whole world in a single speck of sand
And the known and unknown in a descended flower.
Maybe that’s what feels like to hold the endless in your hand
For eternity with each passing hour.
Be it a dozen, a gross or a century that is to score
It’s these numbers whose eternity shall never stop to soar.
