Falling Down

Contributed by ArloDisarray on Wednesday, 2nd October 2013 @ 03:16:25 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I have no idea what I'm to do right now.
It feels like I ripped my heart out, and tossed it to the ground.
I was on top of the world, then I came tumbling down.
I won't know who to be without you around.

I am trying to scoop up all of the remains
Of my own and of all of the other's brains
And their hearts and souls are so hard to train
And from which they're hard to refrain

And maybe once some time has passed
After my heart and mind have relaxed
Then we can start again from the past
And we'll build something up that will last

I have so many words broken in my head
Half of them are idiotic. The other half are dead.
And I have to be careful which ones are said
But I always spill my guts out to the world instead

I stand here in confusion trying not to cry
How did I let this happen? How could I let us die?
But I know inside it'll work out if it's right
And if this really is the end, I guess I'll be alright

I truly do love you, but I can't ever say
Every time I've tried, my words have run away
They put on a disguise, and become another way
So you cannot recognize what I'm trying to say

There are things we could have done differently
But I had to have you, and I made you have me
So maybe the next step will come easily
And if it's really over, then I will set you free
