My eyes saw her
A woman of beauty, loving, and full of warmth
My eyes saw her
A mother showering affection upon her children
My eyes saw her
A wife starving for affection
My eyes saw her
My heart did not
My eyes see her no more

there is nobility in being earnest, even in regret. the test is in learning from past anguishes. and in knowing how to correct long ago mistakes.
for such a short piece, there is an magnitude in its message. well done.
