My love for you is something no one can see,
I dream of you but you don’t dream of me,
And each day that goes by,
I hold back the tears while I cry.
This pain I’m feeling now, you’ll never know,
I wear a mask so the feelings don’t show,
And each day that goes by
I hold back the tears while I cry.
How can I deny, what I’m feeling inside,
Am I just a fool with these feelings I hide,
Do I let you go and try to walk on my own,
Or do I face the fact that I can’t make it alone.
I built my world on a dream around you,
And now I’m there but I still don’t have you,
And each day that goes by
I hold back the tears while I cry.
A beat of my heart and still hope lives on,
But how can I live when all hope is gone,
And each day that goes by
I hold back the tears while I cry.
