Ripped apart

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

I need to say what’s in my heart, If I don’t it will surely rip it apart.
I can’t tell you… what should I do but talk to strangers, where else can I start
I don’t recognize this woman I have become in whole or even in part.
I wish there was a way to create a brand new start.

To the days before our May Spring day
To six years ago in a time so far away
To a time that you would never impart
All that you are simply because they were there in a time that was difficult for your heart.

I know that you try to be the best you can be
The someone I believe only I can see
Your potential is as deep as the deepest sea
And completely adored in whole by me.

I will let the tears flow
And the dreams of us I will let go
Into the dark cold night they will flow
In hopes that in spring a warm light will shine and all that I cling to may actually grow

I pray to my angels above that they will see
And guide us to where there is a you and me
Because that is where my heart will be
Lying patiently waiting until you are back with me.

I love you with everything I do take part
To wish there was a way to create a brand new start
Unfortunately at this time there is not so I will depart
But with you I leave my entire heart

I need to say what’s in my heart, If I don’t it will surely rip it apart.

Very nice... I think we all have been there and we all have to realize that there are some things that take time. If we're lucky, they will come back to us. ;-)

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
