Eyes are better closed

How I wish I were blind; to not see the atrocities committed by fallen mankind.
Oh how my heart bleeds for those who are lost...
Oh how I wish for my eyes to be shut; so that I can at least dream of hope and see the face of whom I trust.

Oh how my failing heart needs resuscitation; because of the tears I held inside my chest.
The years of trial, hellish flames and tribulation, this is the reason…

My ears have also heard the violence that proceeds out of the mouth of many in my school.
Sadly I just watched and kept fatally silent….
Oh how I wish my tongue were to burn with words of love, discipline and correction…

For how long will I plead with you to love those who need it and those that don’t know it?
Will you love only those who are part of your cliques?!

With much wisdom and knowledge comes great sorrow!
My God, My God… Our Eyes our better off closed!!!
