Sitting alone in the blinding dark.
Keeping loneliness company once again,
we're recounting all the past and all the pain.
Walking this road alone, i dunno what i was hoping for,
cocaine employer, four wheeled debt, no open door.
Just one way thoughts,no courage or pride, just life's little whore.
Walking along this road, past the sign post 'leaving hope'.
Worlds spinning beneath me no one to hold me still,
no one to take off the rope.
Early settlement of gods bill.
But none of us can escape the board.
We just come back as a different piece.
So live your life each day,
laugh and learn and find your way.
