I hear the north wind calling,
A cold and desolate cry.
Icy winds that gently touch my face,
have passed autumn by.
A sun that seems so distant,
through waves of Grey clouds,
has etched the ground with shadows,
that seem to dance somehow.
Nights so hauntingly longer,
push the evening sky away,
displaying a magnitude of stars,
that hide through out the day.
And I just a spectator,
watch the stars fall,
alone, yet very content,
When the north wind calls

winter and north, I suppose it's winter and south for some, but the feeling's just the same. a different kind of beauty in itself, this change that blows into your town. Very well written!
Peace! |

We are really just spectators in the vastness of it all, aren't we?
Thank you for an enjoyable read and to YPDC.
