The Last Goodbye

Look at me; oh don't cry my darling;
it's nothing, I will be just fine.
Please smile, show me your beauty, let me
look at my love one last time.
Will you stay, don't leave me in darkness;
I'm so afraid of being alone.
Talk to me, let me hear your voice; the
sweet sound reminds me of home.
Touch me, once more will you hold me; I
am starting to feel so cold..
Pray for me, I am feeling so guilty, for
damage I've done to my soul.
Love me, I hope that you love me, I
love you more than I can say.
Leave me, my spirit has gone now, and I'm
sorry babe that I couldn't stay.

I feel like I am living this poem at this very moment. I just want to scream WHY!!! Why cant you stay?
