Anticipation
It’s coming soon
I wait with baited breath
The days tick down to the event
Can’t control the emotion building
I’m anticipating greatness
The date written in stone
The venue gearing up
The gathering participants are mustering
It’s coming closer and closer
And I’m overjoyed
Finally, change is welcome
Preparations prepared
Crossing off calendar days, done
Now life can begin
A new chapter to be written
