Do you know

Contributed by thehotshotpoet on Monday, 12th August 2013 @ 06:58:33 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

(Do you know?)

if god appeared in front of you
would you have anything to say
about the way you treated others
when they got in your way

could you explain to him the reasoning
right from the very start
why you seem to be so happy
when you take someones world apart

you think you know the answer
but the truth will prevail
he can see past the myth
in the words you call your tale

in the eye's of our beholder
we will all look one day
he see's the words unspoken
so what will you say

Gritty and thought provoking.
I'm probably the sort of person that would see God and ask him how Elvis is, but I think I'm digressing a little.
Nice work.

Steve
