As I walked through the churchyard
The Dead stood proudly at their graves
But before I could reach them
Time took them
and left all but stones and magpies

I have to say, it does conjure up the image of an empty churchyard on a cold Winter morning, watching your own breath plume into the air as you walk silently along.
Reminds me of when my father and I go to lay wreaths on our relatives graves at Christmas.
