Oh when my love, my darling
You've left me here alone
I'll walk the streets of London
Which once seemed all our own
The vast suburban churches
Together we have found
The ones which smelt of gaslight
The ones in incense drowned
Did we ever think it would come to this?
Always looking back,
thinking if we did something different;
If we did something wrong?
And when I accept that When I fall, no one will catch me
Alone, lonely, I'll overdose slowly.
Hoping that someone will bring me home in a blinding dream,
and Wash the sorrow from off my skin
And show me how to be whole again
but always knowing that this is my life,
and will lead it to it's end. On my tearm's. In my way. When I say.
Without anyone to stop me.
