I was born as I was & now I am
But what was I before I was what I am?
Where was I before then?
What difference difference does it make to men?
Or man
Is mankinds journey the journey of every man?
Of every woman, or of our feet as it moulds the sand?
Everything we touch is altered by our touch
Before the next can be altered by it, but by how much?
What is it that we leave behind?
Is life limited before its time? Born with nothing on our minds?
Innocence is lost in what we're told to be our crimes
For those of us who speak to gods we reach but cannot find
Cannot climb. In dreams we scream forbidden lines
But whose is this that shapes? Not mine
Freedom is a what freedom was
We are not free but why? Because

Your words pose the intensity of all questions asked by those lost in time - very heart felt and takes the reader to realms often visited but yet fled with fear. I like the power and the feelings behind this write. Very great write, P |
