At least I Can Dream

Contributed by bryantjunior on Friday, 26th July 2013 @ 05:05:23 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

To laugh and cry, for all of life’s knots I want to untie.

To meet people, and say hello instead of goodbye.

To click my fingers and for something to actually happen.

To catch every picture that I can, I never to be caught napping.

To travel the whole world, without direction, without a plan.

To try and run the whole world, not for success, just to know I ran.

To be stuck in-between a rock and hard place, and walk the other way.

To let everyone know who I am and shout, so I can prove I had my say.

To sign my life to a person willing to put up with me, forever.

To give all my focus to happiness, and dance whatever the weather.

To let the sun create my smile and wash my tears away in the rain.

To let someone hug me, to breathe my air, so I feel no pain.

To let them share in everything, and see them on the other side.

To buy two tickets, just so they can come along for the ride.

To express the joy in my life, and say thank you.

To always be at the front and never in the queue.

To see them smile, to see them be happy, that is all I ask.

To have her as mine, so in her love I can bask.

There is a theory that if you wish for something and you want it badly enough, you will get it.
So you never know, only time will tell if you get what you desire.
Good luck

Steve

I believe in the power of action, and art is a form of action. You have expressed yourself beautifully. If you do so with someone you love, I am certain they will see the beauty as well.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
