I came with the night

I come with the night
in the hours of darkness
I bring with me the rain
for mine is the storm.
I stole the fires from the heavens
and I lit my cigerette
you've seen me before but don't
remember me yet.
My eyes tell the truth
my word may decieve
I'm full of tricks
with an ace up my sleeve.
Both God and the Devil
my mind do they sway
but for every prayer ever answered
there's a price to have pay.
I am the wolf
I am not a sheep
Not part of the flock.
My demons speak
and I've seen in my eyes
the wind and the moon
that govern the tides.
I came with a purpose.
I came with the night.
