I lie awake and watch you sleep
One last memory for me to keep
Moonlight gently caressing your face
It takes me back to a better place
For there it was a love we’d share
Instead I find that only I care
And now we begin our lives apart
Know when you leave you take my heart
For the hardest thing I’ll ever do
Is to walk away still loving you
