You lie hidden within a fantasy world
Can't see through your purple swirl
No concept of a life meant to be
What strangeness do you really see
Have you ever opened love's gate
What happened to cause this fate
Never to know real hope traced
Upon which all happiness is based
Sadness sings its mournful song
Pronouncing each and every wrong
Heartache becomes your only friend
Believing loneliness can never end
I'm here to tell you a different story
You are destined for a better glory
I've traveled through love's gates
Oh, what wonders beyond it waits
Blue sky shimmers; the air so sweet
The grass bounces under your feet
You can feel the truth of your soul
Once you cross its loving knoll
A golden realm beckons you to stay
Here tomorrow cancels out yesterday
Smile as its warmth touches your face
As you reach out to open love's gate
