Sanity and Thoughts

Am I the maker of my sanity
am I the owner of the thoughts in my head
These simple thoughts came to me while I was sleeping
when I was so comfortable lying in my bed
I find it all makes sense
even if it was a dream or just thoughts hidden in my mind
I now have two new questions to ask my self
and hopefully the true answers I will find
My sanity, governed by my emotions
and controls how I act
It’s all about being a normal person in society
so I know I am sane, that’s a fact
The thoughts in my head
perhaps I do not own
They come from things I see and hear
so I share them in each and every poem
All in all, no need to stress
as it doesn’t matter if I am sane or insane
It doesn’t really matter
if I own the thoughts that are running through my brain
What really matters
is that my thoughts are positive and not bad
It’s what feeds my sanity
and what controls me being happy or sad

| I really liked the confidence and truth your words tell the reader. You give food for thought, yet give no hesitance to claim what thoughts are yours. I liked the flow, and the graduation of the story. Great write, P |
