selfstruggles
|
Periodically, there are nights when not even the moon beams shine
through the window
on those few rare occasions where loneliness visits once again
when the doorway leads to a vessel of darkness
and the feelings of numbness and desolation return
the fires of another soul seem miles away
do you remember, all those things that happened to you
alone at night, where you were left unprotected by the
sun light
When this feeling of loneliness periodically returns
all my senses are greywashed by the torment, the pull into
worry and hidden memories
The particles you try to push away
Though they will always remind you, there is a place within you
they always remain
Theres a concealment around me, that has buried this loneliness
Yet its these rare moments
Where the demons visit once again
You think you let it go
But you can’t get out what’s living within your head
