Weeping Rapture

Sauntering within hollow memories,
captured within a picture frame,

softly weeping upon the canvas,
as the paint pools at the bottom,

the sky mocks me with its beauty,
such silent rapture out of reach.

Wow! I think your poem touched fantastic heights and depth there. These sort of lines are a combination of a heart's yearning for higher things, spiritual. So it has both the tender emotions of a heart soul-imbued and also a reaching, a yearning for vastness, higher rapture, unearthly joy etc. Nice.
