Sometimes I think, the time might be now
to get out of this bed, if but my limbs would allow
To call up an old friend, or an ex I feel I know
I know they'd understand, if I took it real slow
But the fan in the corner just shakes it's head no.
And I thought that maybe, I'd call for some work
and I tried to recall, where the number might lurk.
I'd make me some cash, pocket the dough
But the fan in the corner just shakes it's head no.
And the bottle beside me, catches the light.
The promise therein, to escape for a night.
It's voice too alluring, it's promise too bright.
I'll drink just one more, in the morning I'll go.
But the fan in the corner just shakes it's head no.

Harsh reality that only the one suffering can get himself out of. No one els can make that choice but himself. Good very good write.
