Last Man Standing

Years pass by, so do the people
The things that stay behind are not so simple
Emotions, values, your tryst with this life
A hell lot of crap goes under the knife

The repulsive fear that haunts your dreams
Of failure, despair and low self esteem
Will ride you to hell, you better be prepared
Lest no chance my friend, that you’ll be spared

Unless, otherwise, you resolve to move along the road
Through misery, anguish and traps that embellish it with your head unbowed
It’s the purgatory before the heaven of accomplishment creeps in
None but the ‘mighty’ survive, sporting the victorious grin

A bag of roses it isn't, but an elimination chamber
You ought to embrace it, better sooner than later
A trial that tests you from within with no rules binding
Get back into the game and be the Last Man Standing!!!
