“The taste of death is upon my lips…!”
So he exclaimed and went back to hiding.
Hiding his smiling face where it belonged:
Deep in the grills of his staves.
“The taste of death is upon my lips…!”
So he exclaimed and went back to chasing.
Chasing with his blue eyes, some hole of light
that was dancing on the walls.
“The taste of death is upon my lips…!”
So he exclaimed and went back to the caress.
Caressing his hair, his lady of all the years.
Her touch intoxicating and full of comfort.
“The taste of death is upon my lips…!”
So he exclaimed and went back to the torment.
Tormenting him as it ran through the furrows of his ego,
the venom of envy, the essence of hate.
“The taste of death is upon my lips…!”
So he exclaimed and with his last breath,
he humbly composes the greatest symphony of all,
the symphony of his grand and unjust ending.
