26:06:2013....
The mighty truck Kenworth.
The world's best from birth.
Back in 1912 it was founded.
Its creators feet well grounded.
Then it was the Gerlinger Motor Car Works.
Believe me these guys were not jerks.
For what they began.
Was a vision of an extraordinary man.
The Gersix came to life in Nineteen Fifteen.
It was a marvel of a machine.
It was big and strong.
Forever this thing would go on.
Put a heavy load on its back.
Every road and mountain it would attack.
Man this thing ruled the rugged Northwest.
Look anywhere in the world this is the Best!
In 1917 the company changed hands.
The new fathers had big plans.
Kent and Worthington were their names.
And these men also had brains.
They took this infant.
And raised it to be a giant.
Known all round the globe.
Every market they did probe.
In 1923 the company was renamed.
The name Kenworth would never be shamed.
This is a superb brand.
That spread like wild fire through the land.
But this was not their only goal.
Their trucks must be everywhere from pole to pole.
No matter where you look.
Yes on the roads but not in a book.
Now 101 years down the road.
Kenworth still takes any load.
As always going strong.
Never nothing going wrong.
Crushing its closest rivals.
Shame they are always late arrivals.
So when you acquire a Kenwoth.
You know you have the best truck on earth.

I loved the fact you included the history in this poem too. KW was the very first truck I drove and what I was trained in:) Awesome!
