Tossing and turning
I'm hurting
the fires of confusion
are burning me alive,
I say I don't want it
but visions of loving
pulsate and undulate
and drip
deep in my mind,
Fantastic falls of memories crescendo
spinning me
on a emotional high.
Off balance
I stumble and I mumble
I don't who I am anymore
ever since that day
love
once again let me down,
crippled pilgrims sing softly
their hurt strangely soothes me
and I really need a reason
for existing
can't live without one now.
