Headin’ down the highway now
wind blowin’ in my hair.
Mind consumed with not a care
of where I go or how.
It’s time for some action,
it’s time for some fun,
the time has just begun
now that there is no sanction.
Free to go wherever
free to ride and ride
to no man’s rules I will abide
believe me, man, forever.
On this journey I’m so free
my spirit really soars.
I’m no longer at the oars
of life’s strict policy.
I’m cruisin’ down a highway,
which one, I don’t care,
I just know I’m almost there,
to destination lost my way.

I really like driving. No, really. Especially when you're all alone, and there's nothing to see or hear....
...I guess that given the vast expanse of country Americans really have it lucky, eh? |
