The Ghost Of Love

Contributed by unknown_utopia on Sunday, 23rd June 2013 @ 08:13:16 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Letting go
it's so hard to do
when you have nothing
but love bleeding in your hands
and I know
I'm just a ghost
a memory of something now forgotten.

I
was living the dream with my foxy lady
hmm
we were tight
and together we did everything
but
then she turned out to be a miss misery
using the art of deception
never letting me know
she no longer wanted me.

I was shocked and dazed
when she rocked me
lost in the zone
of the unknowing
and
even when I shattered emotionally
still I lingered
trying to hold on to something,
man I thought she was the one
oh I love her.....

Full of angst indeed. Great write.
Although you maybe gone, ghosts forever haunt.

James
