stranger in a bottle

Contributed by android00702 on Friday, 21st June 2013 @ 11:32:15 PM in AEST
Topic: drugabuse

how i loath the tyranny of the stranger whom i become. he seems to hate my happiness. attacking in the places where i find most comfort. his cruelty comes in the loneliness that he inflicts upon me. what is worst is that i beckon at his door. knowing that in the past he has sent away my friends. he has put me away and stunted the growth of the person who i am to become. i now sit in my room observing the the deafening silence that i have brought to my home. i have become a blight to my household. the secret shame of my father and the crushed expectations of my mother.
i knowingly consume the elixir that brings this inner demon out in me from depths i know not where he hides.
crafty is he. allowing me to believe that i am in control. allowing me to think how many sips allows me to keep him at bay before unleashing his cruelty upon others. the cruelest of all is that he dose and says these things while wearing my face.
i am left with the blame, the sorrow, and just enough memories to allow me to know that i was indeed involved in the events occurred. yet never enough for me to know the full story. i trust this is so that i can be even more shocked and appalled as i hear them through another person as they use the tone that lets me know that even they lament the retelling of my actions.
I trust by acknowledging that i give him this much credit in carefully planning his oh so memorable debuts i convey just how much belief i have that he is a completely different person. however it might also show just how strongly i wish this was so.

Would read easier if it was laid out better for eg one sentence bellow the other.

Greetings
