I sit in silent disbelief,
in a safe and peaceful home.
Hear the shells, see the smoke,
over the Golden Islam- dome.
As life in another country,
in demise before my eyes.
Ghoulish images float across the screen,
as i hear the children's cries.
I see mind- numbing hatred,
i will never understand.
Carried out loyally, unquestioning,
by mere word of one madman.
Turn the guns on people,
who want not but better life.
Recieve death word from leader,
oppressive blackness rife.
Place the child in front of you,
if stray bullet now should fly.
Must keep safe unholy regime,
no matter if they die.
Your brutal reign is at an end,
madman, i tell you true.
People will now rule themselves,
in peace long overdue.
