There is some humour at the heart of creation .
Most things just flow i guess.
The water will pour, the wars will come and wind will blow through leaves.
The man that beats his son, the man that serves you drinks.
Sometimes my soul laughs at it all, when i stare at it you see right through it.
Honesty, work and loved ones , all fickle things.
We are more likely to die by our own means, yet never on our own terms.
It destroys some, those who try to understand, the gentle souls.
People don't even always get the joke, and disguise it with fancy cars, clothes and well kept gardens.
They don't have to know, the sadness they would feel, they live without defeat and victory, and think it's beautiful.
Those who believe sight is vision, greed is nature and beauty is reserved to billboards and jewellry stores.
When i wake up in the morning i stretch, and some shout inside says just resign to fate, but it's too funny when you open the paper and read about tragedy when the whole world is too occupied with diet pillsor sunglasses, blind too the aching and the suffering
When i die burn me , bury me i could care less, write my name in stone, i have saved nothing, i will leave everything.
I think we can't win.
No one can see but i am always smiling, i think i keep roses in my eyes and thorns in my heart.

Very deep thoughts, I must say. I liked reading this. I sorta stumbled with this line: and some shout inside says just resign to fate, but nevertheless very enjoyable.
I can so relate to leaving everything when we die...definitely cannot take it with us.
Well done.
Thanks,
Tim |
