One For The Forgotten Man

Contributed by bryantjunior on Monday, 17th June 2013 @ 09:20:09 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Confidence is it good or bad, if measured from 1-10.
Would it really separate the mice from the men?
Shouting, screaming saying what you want, having the ability to really speak.
Some men step up to the challenge, others hide and just barely mumble eek.
Does a true genius come forth with his accomplishments, or let the praise come to him.
Let his work be his words, and his words be true, and words come straight from with-in.
People will always give praise to the first person to shout they did it.
But is it the jewellers diamond or the man left back in the pit.
If you cook a meal to someone else’s recipe, would you say its there accomplishment or yours.
People credit Colombo for finding America, but he didn't he just claimed he found these new shores.
There are so many forgotten men in history, the songwriters who let the signers have all the credit.
The workers who put men into the times rich list, only to be forgotten and condemned to discredit.
Every job needs a face, every company needs an owner, but why give away the quiet man’s just deserts.
And take all the glory for yourself, I mean you barely pay him enough so can pay for employee required shirts.
A rich man is rich for a reason, he becomes selfish, now every man should be selfish, but if he can give, give.
Taking so much from these people, giving them only the stuff that falls through sieve.
Its not enough, give a quiet man the accolade that he truly deserves, that he doesn't ask for.
And make him proud enough to speak, and just enough money so he isn't poor.
