A love forbidden is hidden within me.
It's passion eating away,
destroying my sanity
with every passing day.
I know I can not cherish this
for his love belongs to another.
That love, which to me would be total bliss,
was shattered by a sister.
And yet, his love can still be seen
for her, how I would love that stare.
Alas, my yearning soul has deceived me again.
It has led me to the point where
I can only look upon his lovely face
in secret, and love his compassionate grace,
never more than a friend. O my soul,
stop sighing after glances stolen.
