It came about that Mullah Ashwadeen
desired to keep Mawlid-al-Nabim's sway
of Rabiulawal all sacared seen,
commemorating Muhammad's birthday.
For Mulla wanted sermons, be it may
if knight permitted, made in Masjid Great.
A place for feasts, gift giving, time to pray.
For Muslims whole, a solemn holy date.
Aalee Mudaham spoke and gave request to fate
