I do not think that my heart can take you.
You have awakened in me a night that will not settle.
You are a star stolen by moonlight
My eyes cannot reach you
I cannot sleep
The light of my desire for you
Burns too bright
The waters of my love recede, and cannot pour out
So that I am sick and cannot drink
So that I am full and cannot eat
