No Regrets

Topic: oops

A sadness can over take you
and your heart can remain broken
if you do not take the time
to speak words that should be spoken.

Do not take for granted
what you have with you today
Tomorrow is uncertain
and it might just slip away

There is nothing like a Father
A man of steel with loving eyes
But like dreams that steel can shatter
When your hero dies.

There is nothing like a Mother,
A fearless protection in her love,
Amazing how you miss it,
When she is watching from up above.

Tell your family and your friends
Just how much you care
and give them all your love
you have plenty of it to spare.

I do this everyday
because I know life is just a short test
and even though my parents are gone now
I always told them, so I have no regrets.
