"Do You Find"
Do you find yourself lost and alone
Wishing there was somewhere you could finally call home
Well if you do then you're truly not alone
There's someone to love you and hold you when you're cold
Do you find yourself in fear every night
Wondering if he will come home and engage you in a fight
I know many heard that and feel a tear well up in their eye
Don't lose hope, push farward to days where you don't have to cry
Do you find yourself bleeding deep inside
Reaching for that pill, that one last line, to get you to that high
Millions all over know it's true, and think it's all ok
Well I tell you this first hand, people die, I almost found out the hard way
Do you find yourself looking in the mirror
Never satisfied with who you are leaving the house, a big fear
Every day people look to "Fix Themself" and be a better sight
Well let me tell you, you are beautiful, and you look just right
Do you find yourself reaching for that razor
Believing it's all over, it wont get better, to try, just a waste now
It can be all you want, trust and believe you will see
But if you choose to give up, there's no coming back, and it's not any better where you will be
Do you find yourself stuck in the middle
They want a divorce, they won't stop fighting, God why can't they just be civil
I'm here to tell you there is still hope for it to be ok
There can be peace, there still is love, and a house for you to play
Do you find that you go day after day
Only to get picked on, beat up, and spit on the same way
You're better then them, it will come back in the end you just wait and see
They will be placed under you, like a peon at you're feet
Do you find yourself looking to fill a void with the touch of a man
Just to feel special, thinking it will give you what nothing else can
He has given you nothing you don't already posses
Because you are wonderful inside, nothing less of the best
I say these things because there is nothing more true
Then what you will find when you look deep inside of YOU
Nothing is more then what you posses in your own
Nothing can bring you down, no fist, no words, no broken home
I hope one day God touches you like he has me
Then you can count on happiness eternally
Even ones that haven't found him yet
Believe me he is there through all your pain, and when you're upset
All the things listed are just a small list of the card of life
You can conquer all, a man, a bulley, that razor or that knife
Just always keep your chip up high and remember what is important
God will protect you if you let him, talk to him, and keep your heart open
If you do these things then you wont have to worry about a thing
That pain you feel inside will be erased, and your soul will forever gleam
I hope this has touched you once, and read it to get some inspiration
God is there for you and me, no matter what we are facin'
