The God In A Writer's Hand

Contributed by vrr on Friday, 31st May 2013 @ 02:19:09 AM in AEST
Topic: PoemsonBeauty

This fluency in writing, is a god gifted talent
If you receive it, no one else shall know when it came and went
It's like a dancer who has perfectly stretched and bent
It's like a cook who has learnt his dishes' scent.

No force shall force it yo sit
It comes as a gift, not in small bits
It's the hand that can glorify a rat and a culprit
It's the God in a writer's hand, that decorates the pulpit.

The true words shall echo in the cells of your sense
It's worth is undeniable, a billion dollar pence
It is the thought that is heavy and most dense
It is the thought that senses the mind of the tense
It is the thought that [to all hands] cleanses

Like a sensitizing, smooth stream
It strikes the dream
This emits a thoughtful invincible beam
A eureka of knowledgeable dreams.

It is this that sat in the hand of Timotheus
It is this that sits in the thunderbolt of Zeus
It is this that flows through the oceans if Perseus
It is this that wrungly rests in these hands if us.

The sound in these links can labor Hades' words
The sound in this line can soften Persephone's seasonal worlds
The sound in the lines can halt Achilles heel cords
The sound in it can rise in the wheat of the nord.

The thundering letters shall tremble the hard and heather
The soft letters shall soothe, like the softness of a quilt of feather
It is the God in a writer's hand that can change weathers.
