In the early recesses of the morning,
the moment the sun is dawning,
I wake up foggy and shake my head,
shaking away a night of dread.
I don't know why it is that they come in my sleep,
the demon silhouettes and that wierd frigging creep,
I start of great, in fact really nice,
dreaming of girls and all things spice,
and then it happens, Let it begin!
because the frigging creep with the knife is not going to win,
We struggle, I fall, I stall, I crawl,
he grabs my heal but thats not all,
He grabs my head and tries to look me in the eye,
and its at that point I feel if I do I will die,
An then the curtains of my eyes do break,
the sun is dawing and I am awake.

Gripping and had me sucked in. Well done - very much worth the rear. I/'/m sad that this was written so long ago and you only have two poems on here because both are incredible. Hopefully you/'/re still out there penning and letting that talent shine. |
